Visitation of Polibatam Facilities and Infrastructure from the Directorate of Vocational Education Mitras Dudi
POLIBATAM-Product/Problem/Project Based Learning (PBL) has become a learning method in Polibatam. For this reason, adequate facilities and infrastructure are needed to support the PBL learning process. PBL learning is also a means of link and match with industrial partners around the Riau Islands Province, especially in Batam City.
Therefore, the Directorate of Partnership and Alignment of the Business World and Industry/Kemitraan dan Penyelarasan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (Mitras DUDI) visited Polibatam to see the facilities and infrastructure that would be used to support PBL learning methods. Mitras Dudi representatives who attended were Maulana Okto, Nuch Rahardjo, Agus Susilohadi, Sulistio Mukti Cahyono, Yoggi Herdani, Alfitrah Subuh, and Putri Eka Andryani.
Starting with visiting the Robotics workspace (BRAIL), Mitras DUDI then visited the Technopreneur Center building which was directed by Hendawan as a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department and Deputy Chair of the Innovation and Business Services Unit/Satuan Hilirisasi Inovasi dan Layanan Usaha (SHILAU).
“I think that the facilities and equipment at Polibatam really support PBL learning methods that link and match with industrial environmental systems. I hope that many vocational tertiary institutions can follow the process and place for PBL management,” said M. Nuch, the Program and Evaluation Coordinator.
