The Inauguration of Polibatam Technopreneur Center Building and Talk show on the Application of Industrial Project Based Learning (PBL) at Politeknik Negeri Batam

NEWS-The inauguration of the Polibatam Technopreneur building has been carried out on March 21, 2022, which is located in the Politeknik Negeri Batam campus area. This building is the center of activities for Project/problem/product Based Learning (PBL) which is one of the learning models echoed by all vocational education in Indonesia.

“The implementation of PBL should be carried out in Vocational Education throughout Indonesia!” said Wikan Sakarinto as Director General of Vocational Education Kemendikbudristek. The inauguration of the Polibatam Technopreneur Center building was also attended by the Director of Polibatam, Uuf Brajawidagda and the Management and Polibatam lecturers; Chairman of the Indonesian State Polytechnic Director Forum (FDPNI), Ahmad Taqwa; Officials within the government of Batam City and Riau Islands Province, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives in Batam.

After the inauguration of the building, it was followed by a talk show entitled “Implementation of PBL in Polytechnics” moderated by Ahmad Riyad Firdaus as Deputy Director 1 Polibatam, Ahmad Taqwa, Hadi S. Cokro from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, meaning Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia (Kadin) West Java Region, Luki Satria from PT. MES 4.0, Imam Sholihuddin from PT. Philips.
