The Central Ombudsman Held a Public Lecture at Polibatam Campus

POLIBATAM- The Riau Islands Ombudsman held a public lecture at Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) campus on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. This public lecture is on the topic “Oversight of the Ombudsman in Public Services Towards Community Welfare/Pengawasan Ombudsman Dalam Pelayanan Publik Menuju Kesejahteraan Masyarakat“.

The public lecture was held at the Tanjung Piayu Studio, PolibatamTechnopreneur Building. Participants who attended the public lecture were students, lecturers, and members of the Polibatam academic community. The main speaker is the leader of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Ir. Jemsly Hutabarat, SH., MM.

Parroha Patar Siadari, the Head of Ombudsman Representative for the Lagat, Riau Islands, was also present at this public lecture. Polibatam Deputy Director1, Ahmad Riyad Firdaus, Ph.D, and Deputy Director3 Dr. H. Muhammad Zaenuddin represents the management of Polibatam.

Hopefully, with this public lecture, the participants will understand the duties and roles of the Ombudsman in supervising public services by state administrators and both central and regional governments.
