Seminar on “Wireless Communication Security” with Polibatam PCTEAM CoE

Together with PCTeam (Polibatam Cyber Team) CoE (Center of Excellence), Politeknik Negeri Batam held a National Seminar with a Polibatam lecturer, Nur Cahyono Kushardianto (who is more familiarly called Anung), raising the topic of C-ITS and Communication Security. The theme entitled “Optimizing Technology to Avoid Cyber Threats on Smart Vehicles” was the result of Anung’s research which was delivered on Friday, April 14, 2023. This seminar was conducted in a hybrid manner, i.e., offline in the Auditorium Room, Floor 3, Politeknik Negeri Batam Technopreneur Building, and online via Zoom.

C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport System) technology enables driving safety and more efficient traffic flow. C-ITS uses wireless technology in terms of exchanging information between intelligent vehicles on the road. This exchange of information forms a communication network between vehicles like the internet network.
