Politeknik Negeri Batam Received a Visit from PT. Patria Maritim Perkasa (PMP)

NEWS – This visit was a follow-up to the synergy between Industry and Polibatam. In this second visit, the group of PT. Patria Maritim Perkasa (PMP) led by Iman Mustofa (Operation Director) along with 5 other Top Management ranks were exploring MoUs, Cooperation, and Joining Research on Project Based Learning implementation. The visit was received directly by the Director of Polibatam, Uuf Brajawidagda, the Head of Shipping Study Program, Hendra Saputra, and Mr. Muslim Ansori as the Head of Satuan Hilirisasi Inovasi dan Layanan Usaha (SHILAU). This activity took place on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Polibatam Technopreneur Building.

On this occasion, Iman Mustofa (Operation Director) said that PT. PMP is ready to collaborate with Polibatam in several aspects such as joint research, internships, PBL implementation with real projects, and several other aspects. The Director of Polibatam said that Polibatam will always welcome collaboration and innovation with industry because that is what we (Polibatam) exist for.

“We have been trying for three semesters to enact PBL method as a substitute for conventional classes, indeed there are still many shortcomings, but we will continue to move forward and fix the existing lacks,” added Uuf.

After the meeting in the Theater Room, 1st floor of the Technopreneur Building, the group of PT. PMP went around (campus tour) to see the facilities in Polibatam and saw the PBL learning process in Polibatam Robotics Study Program.
