Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) Secures British Council Grant for Gender Equality in STEM

Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) has once again received a grant, this time from the British Council in partnership with City of Glasgow College. This grant aims to promote gender equality in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields as part of the Going Global Partnership program.

Polibatam is the sole polytechnic to receive this competitive grant. After a thorough proposal review, Polibatam was deemed eligible for a grant of up to £25,000 over a 12-month period ending in January 2025.

The Polibatam team that competed for this grant included Shinta Wahyu Hati, Winanda Wahana Warga Dalam, Anjelina, Ayu Puspitasari, Fandy Bestario, and Dwi Kartikasari from the Management and Business Department of Polibatam; and the Head of the CDC Unit, Hanifah Widiastuti.
