Polibatam With PT. Makmur Elok Graha Signs MoU Regarding Implementation of Higher Education Tridharma to Support the Development of Rempang Batam Area

POLIBATAM-Batam State Polytechnic Campus (Polibatam) with PT. Makmur Elok Graha (MEG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Friday, 28 July 2023. Also present and personally signed was the Director of Polibatam, Dr. Uuf Brajawidagda, and the Director of PT. MEG, Triyono.

This Memorandum of Understanding aims to increase the synergy, roles, and responsibilities of the parties in implementing the sustainable development of the Rempang area; and utilizing the potential, capabilities, technology, and facilities owned by the parties for the implementation of area development.

The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding includes: a). Research to support the development of the Rempang area, which positively impacts the economic, educational, social and other sectors; b). Application of science and technology in planning and implementing development activities in the Rempang area; c). Implementing a program of practitioner lecturers and/or guest lectures to increase human resource capacity in the Rempang area; d). Implementation of other programs agreed upon by the parties.

PT. Makmur Elok Graha (MEG) is committed to making Rempang Island able to compete nationally and at the international level later. Hopefully, with the signing of this MoU, both parties can work together and have a positive impact on the development of Rempang Island in the future, and this will also have a positive impact on economic growth in Batam City.
