Polibatam Strives to Become a BLU State College
NEWS-In 2022, Polibatam strives to become a public service agency/badan layanan umum (BLU) to be more agile in responding to industry dynamics and improving service quality and range of services. Having been established for 22 years and then 12 years as a State College/Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN), Polibatam is again eager to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity for Indonesia, especially the Riau Islands Province and Batam City by applying as BLU.
Explaining some material on Polibatam’s development starting from the quality of education, human resources, as far as business units to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, the presentation of the Polibatam PPKBLU section went smoothly.
The presentation was represented by the Director of Polibatam, Uuf Brajawidagda; Deputy Director I, Ahmad Riyad Firdaus; Deputy Director II, Bambang Hendrawan; Deputy Director III, Muhammad Zaenuddin; and all the heads of Polibatam structural units. For Polibatam, becoming a BLU is not the end goal but a means to improve services both in terms of access to quality and reliability.
It is hoped that Polibatam will become an agile and adaptive organization to respond to the needs of the times and the dynamics of the Industry in Batam and Indonesia.” said Uuf.
Hopefully, Polibatam’s efforts to become a BLU PTN can be realized so that it can be even better in improving the quality of education in Batam City, Riau Islands, and Indonesia.
