Polibatam Signed MoU with Republic Polytechnic Singapore

NEWS-Politeknik Negeri Batam Campus signed an MoU with the Republic Polytechnic Singapore (RPS) campus on November 10, 2022. The MoU ratified the mobility collab program for students and staff which has been running so far.

The CEO of Republic Polytechnic Singapore thanked the Director of Polibatam for highlighting pedagogical collaboration and student learning opportunities. “Hopefully the campus tour can provide insight for campus development,” said Yeo Li Phew as Principal or CEO of Republic Polytechnic Singapore. On this occasion, Sulistiyo as the Head of mission of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore said “This MoU is the first step to follow up on a real commitment which is expected to contribute to creating graduates who are adaptable and innovative”.

In his remarks, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, S.T., M.T. as the Academic Director of Vocational Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia said “Polibatam provides insight regarding PBL throughout Indonesia. The hope for future cooperation is to practice the future skills to prepare for future industrial needs.”

Whilst the Director of Polibatam, Dr. Uuf Brajawidagda also said, “This collaboration represents not only between campuses, but also the friendship between Indonesians and Singaporeans. Thank you for the opportunity to cooperate and hope it will benefit Polibatam and Indonesia.”

Hopefully, this MoU can contribute both to improving the quality of Polibatam’s human resources and establish good relations between the two agencies and the two countries, Indonesia and Singapore.
