Polibatam Handed Over Ficusia Batik Girl Animation Series, At Once Watching Together Episodes 1-3
NEWS-Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) held a series of Vocational Matching Fund Activities – Ficusia Batik Girl Animation Series, a Focus Group Screening at Radisson Batam Hotels, Batam, on Tuesday (27/9/2022).
Anima Vitae Point, M Fauzi Ardhi; Infinite Studios, Bintang S Primary; and Zettamind Studio, Daniel Yusur said that this activity was intended to watch Episodes 1-3 together, the work of PBL students – Digiars Studios. The Head of the Polibatam Animation Study Program, Selly Artaty Zega, S.ST., M.Sc., and Sudra Irawan, S.Pd.S., M.Sc., added that this event also sought criticism and suggestions from industry practitioners.
“This is very necessary for evaluation and improvement in various ways,” said Selly Artaty Zega, on Monday (2/10/2022). On this occasion, said Selly, at the same time a ceremonial handover of the project from Polibatam was carried out to the client, i.e., the Cinderella Indonesia Foundation represented by Lusia Kiroyan.
In the event that witnessed one of the great works of Polibatam students, the committee invited representatives from the animation industry, e.g., from Anima Vitae Point Malaysia, Zettamind Studios Batam, and Infinite Frameworks Studios Batam.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director I for Academic Affairs, Ahmad Riyad Firdaus, S.Si., M.T., Ph.D. (Rifi) said that as many as 69 Polibatam students successfully produced and launched the animated film Batik Girl Series, Episode I with the title Ficusia in the Polibatam auditorium, on Wednesday (25/5/2022) ago. This film, said Rifi, has three episodes in this series. This first film produced by Polibatam students will become history, a stepping stone to continue producing other films, and other great works in the future.
