Polibatam Collaborates with SMK Negeri 7 Batam

NEWS – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) received a visit from SMKN 7 Batam for the second time in 2022. The head of SMKN 7 Batam, Sisrayanti, M.Pd., came with all levels of management and was greeted directly by the Director of Polibatam, Uuf Brajawidagda, Ph.D., and Deputy Director III for Cooperation, Student Affairs, and Alumni Dr. Muhammad Zaenuddin.

On this auspicious occasion, Polibatam and SMKN 7 Batam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This MoU is a joint effort to improve the quality of human resources (HR), especially in Vocational Education in the Riau Islands.

Mr. Uuf Brajawidagda said that Vocational Education should be willing and able to transform from time to time according to the needs of the industry because that is the reason why we are here today. “Learning methods must change from conventional classes to student-centered classes and one of them is through Project-Based Learning (PBL),” added the Director of Polibatam.
