Polibatam Became UNDIP Vocational School Benchmarking Goals

POLIBATAM: A few weeks ago, Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) received an award from the Ministry of Education and Culture in the Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus/Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Many parties were interested in getting information about the MBKM system implemented in Polibatam. One is the Universitas Dipenogoro (UNDIP) Vocational School, represented by Sarwoko and Adi K. Yusim as Lecturers of the Shipping Study Program on June 20, 2023.

During this visit, the UNDIP Vocational School wanted to benchmark curriculum development and MBKM implementation, and collaboration in the Tri Dharma field, especially in the Polibatam Applied Bachelor of Engineering Technology for Shipbuilding Construction Study Program. “Through this visit we received material for the development of MBKM methods at our vocational school and we hope that good cooperation can be established between tertiary institutions, especially in the field of Shipping.” said Adi.

Polibatam was represented by Sapto Wiratno Satoto, the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department; Hendra Saputra, the Head of the Shipbuilding Construction Engineering Technology Study Program, Mechanical Engineering Lecturers, and Staff from the Polibatam Cooperation Unit.
