The Launching of Politeknik Negeri Batam Engineer Professional Study Program Simultaneously with the Inauguration of the Riau Islands PII Management

NEWS- Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) held a launching event for the Polibatam Engineer Professional Study Program on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Polibatam campus auditorium. The launching of the Polibatam Engineer Professional Study Program was carried out by the Academic Director of Vocational Higher Education, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, S.T., M.T. accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Batam, Drs. H. Jefridin., M.Pd.; Chairman of PII, Dr. Ir. Danis Hidayat Sumadilaga, ST., M.Eng. Sc., IPU.; Deputy Chairman of Commission X DPR RI; General Chairperson of PII; Deputy Chairperson of Commission X DPR RI; Drs. Ir. Hetifah Sjaifudian, M.PP.; DPD RI Senator from Riau Islands, Ir. H. Ria Saptarika, M.Eng.; Director of Polibatam Uuf Brajawidagda, ST., MT., Ph.D.; Secretary General of PII; and Chairman of PII Riau Islands.

At the launching of the Polibatam Engineer Professional Study Program, an inauguration ceremony for Batam City PII administrators and PII administrators in the Riau Islands was also held. Hopefully, it supports good engineering practices in Batam. This study program is the first Professional Engineer Study Program at Indonesian polytechnics. Hopefully, other polytechnics in Indonesia will soon follow.

In his remarks, the General Chair of the PII Center, Dani Hidayat Sumadilaga, welcomed the opening of the Polibatam Engineer Professional Study Program. According to him, Batam can be an ideal instance of engineer development.
