Get to Know Closer to the Applied Bachelor of Software Engineering Study Program

POLIBATAM-Digitalization which has become a tradition today, has made many people pay more attention to technology. In addition, during the Covid-19 pandemic, technology became the main priority, one of which was close and long-distance communication. Especially in Batam City, the Batam City government has encouraged the digital industry by utilizing Batam City as the Nongsa Digital Park (NDP) Special Economic Zone/Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) since 2019. Thus, technological developments need a lot of competent human resources in terms of mastering software to support the development of Batam City.

Therefore, Polibatam, supported by the Higher Education Service Institution/Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Region X, opened an Applied Bachelor of Software Engineering Technology/Teknologi Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (TRPL) Study Program in 2022 has become Polibatam’s 19th study program.

In this study program, graduates should have the skills of analysis, design, validation, development (programming), quality assurance, and software security to produce technological works that function effectively and efficiently!
