First Stage of Polibatam Lecturer Softskills Training: Shaping a Resilient Lecturer for the Hybrid Era

NEWS-The First Stage of Softskills Training for Polibatam Lecturers is carried out in an effort to always improve the quality of educators and lecturers. Polibatam carried out Softskills Training activities with the theme “Shaping a Resilient Lecturer for the Hybrid Era”. It was held on 10-11 February 2022, at Polibatam Main Building, 402. in this first stage, activities are carried out offline, and the second stage is planned for this March online. Polibatam included 40 lecturers who were divided into 2 classes due to the implementation of the Covid-19 Health Protocol.

The resource persons for this soft skills training came from outside Batam, i.e. Dessy Kurwiani Ukar and Rini Novanita who are experts in the field of Human Resources. “Lecturers and staff, not only have to have hard skills (skills) that must be honed, but we also have to have strong soft skills to strengthen the existing teaching system and of course will later support the institutional transformation process along with other academics.” Said Uuf, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Batam.
