Polibatam organizes a vocational education system at the Diploma 3 and Applied Bachelor (D4) levels through various classes & study programs. Currently, the learning system at Polibatam is implemented through the Problem, Project, and Product Based Learning (PBL) method in direct partnership with industry and government institutions.

Kelas Polibatam
Regular Class (Morning)
Morning Regular Class is a Lecture Program conducted at the main campus of the Politeknik Negeri Batam and is attended by students on a full-time basis according to the selected Study Program. Lectures are held Monday-Friday starting at 7:50 – 17:00 WIB. The education period is normally completed 6 semesters (3 years) for Diploma 3 programs, and 8 semesters (4 years) for Applied Undergraduate programs. Theoretical learning is fully carried out online, both synchronously and asynchronously. While practical learning is generally conducted using the Project/Product/Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method, which is carried out in workspaces, workshops, and laboratories on campus or in industry.
Regular Class (Evening)
Evening Regular Class is a Lecture Program conducted at the main campus of Politeknik Negeri Batam and is attended by students on a full-time basis according to the selected Study Program. Lectures are held Monday-Friday starting at 18:30 – 23:00 WIB. This lecture class is opened to facilitate students who are already working (employees) and would like to continue their education to a higher level. The education period is normally completed 6 semesters (3 years) for Diploma 3 programs, and 8 semesters (4 years) for Applied Undergraduate programs. Theoretical learning is fully carried out online, both synchronously and asynchronously. While practical learning is generally undertaken using the Project/Product/Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method, which is carried out in workspaces, workshops, and laboratories on campus or in industry.
Batamindo Class
Lecture? While working? It’s normal, but the location in the Industrial area? Of course, only in Polibatam! Introducing the Polibatam industrial class in the Batamindo area, Muka Kuning, Batam, established in 2017. There is no difference between this industrial class and the regular class at Polibatam. The advantages given are of course the location which is located in the industrial estate (next to the Batamindo Dormitory) and with the same lecturers at the main Polibatam Campus, Batam Centre. Polibatam Batamindo Industrial class lecture time starts at 18.30 WIB to 23.00 WIB, making it possible for students to take classes after work. However, currently the study programs available at the Batamindo Polibatam Industrial Class only have Diploma 3 (D3) Informatics Engineering and Accounting.
