Distinguished Lecture with Mr. ing. ing. Werner Roβbach From German Senior Experten Service (SES)

NEWS-Polibatam Electrical Engineering Department held a Distinguished Lecture on November 18, 2022, which took place at the Theater Studio Polibatam Technopreneur Center Building. This event presented resource person Ing. Werner Roβbach, one of the experts from the SES (Senior Experten Service) program. This program is part of a series of Mr. Werner at Polibatam.

The arrival of Experten from the SES Foundation German Industry is an annual program of international cooperation between Polibatam and SES. Of course, the students were very enthusiastic and appeared to be present at Mr. Werner’s lecture with a total of 110 students. The students are from cross-study programs in the Electrical Engineering Department, including Manufacturing Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, and Robotics Engineering.

The material presented by Mr. Wener with the title “Lean Six Sigma” as an approach method is often used in the industrial world for process and product quality improvement in project work. This material matches the learning method adopted by Polibatam, namely PBL (Project Based Learning), especially in the Electrical Engineering Department.

“Hopefully this lecture can provide the best insights and techniques for students to be able to manage the project properly so that it fits the timeline and of course the customer’s request (VoC),” said Mr. Werner.
