Polibatam Barelang63 Robot Team Reached International Level Achievements: Asia-Pacific Robocup 2022 in the Middle Size League8 Category
ACHIEVEMENT-The Polibatam Barelang63 Robot Team achieved 2nd place at the international level in Asia-Pacific Robocup 2022 in the Middle Size League Cooperation Challenge category and achieved 4th place in the Open Challenge category on 20 November 2022.
The Barelang63 Robot Team consists of 14 Polibatam students and is guided by 3 lecturers. The Asia-Pacific Robocup is an international competition in the field of robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) which is participated by various countries from Asia-Pacific. The Polibatam is one of the campuses representing Indonesia in this event. This competition is a branch of the International Robocup competition which was previously held in Thailand.
Muhammad Yusup, a member of the Barelang63 robot team said that this year Singapore was the host of the Asia-Pacific Robocup 2022 and the competition was held online from 19-20 November 2022. “Thank God, in this competition, our Barelang63 team gained satisfying results, i.e. achieved 2nd place in the cooperation challenge category and 4th place in the open challenge category,” explained Yusup.
Another proud achievement was won by the Robot Polibatam team. Congratulations to all members of the Barelang63 Polibatam Robot Team and supervisors for this achievement. Hopefully, it can inspire other students to be able to continue to be outstanding in making the name of the Polibatam Alma mater.
